ECF ANNOUNCEMENTS
As of 6/1/05, all attorneys are required to file all pleadings electronically using the Electronic Case Filing (ECF) system. Attorneys must complete an Attorney ECF Registration Form and fax it to the Clerk's Office at 202-273-0049. Training is required before a password is issued.
Attorneys who e-file in other jurisdictions and who have attended formal training with other bankruptcy courts may be able to complete on-line training exercises rather than attend a formal training session with this court. Attorneys who are new to e-filing will be asked to attend a training session conducted by Clerk's Office staff in the courthouse.
The Clerk's Office implemented a Creditor/Claimant/Limited-Use e-filing capability for creditor attorneys and creditor agencies in March 2005.
