VCIS enables outside access to case information through the use of the buttons on a touch tone telephone to search for information on a particular case. A case can be accessed either by the name of the party filing or the case number. VCIS can provide basic case information such as: date filed, parties, chapter, date of the 341 meeting, name of trustee, name of attorney and the current status of a case.
