Due to restrictions placed upon the District of Columbia, including the closure of the Courthouse over the next several days, pro se parties are encouraged to submit their bankruptcy papers for filing via email versus the drop box at the 3rd street entrance.  Bankruptcy filings can be emailed to: DCB_CMECF@DCB.USCOURTS.GOV , and emergency bankruptcy filings emailed to: Emergency_Judge@dcb.uscourts.gov .

Bankruptcy filings submitted by pro se parties, via the above-referenced email addresses, have been permissible since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic (See General Order No. 2020-4 dated April 10, 2020).
